Success in the Chicago nightlife game is a tough road.  But you know you've made it when your Tuesday night party is the most talked about club happening in the city.  Still the road is continually filled with bumps, detours and sometimes dead ends.  Outdanced rocketed to the pinnacle of the Chicago club scene as a weeknight party that featured hype hipster approved acts, cheap drinks and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Conscious Choice Turns 20

One of the city's best rags is celebrating it's 20th year in print with a big party. Benefiting FamilyFarmedExpo.org., the sustainable evening will be zero-waste with local organic and sustainable foods by  Greg Christian.  The menu will feature local fare and produce with internationally themed food made with mostly local ingredients - a trio of summer soups, salads and sandwiches from small farms. The event takes place on Saturday at Allyu Spa.

Glad our plans to head down to Planet Rock 2 after Walter Meego never came about cause now we get word that it was shut down before it really began. (so did Threat2Etiquette in the same general area the following night. The CPD Nazi Party Patrol is out again) So here's Planet Rock 2.5 a free make -up event that looks as good as the first. Call for directions.

The more halloween bashes we hear about the better they get. Very strong DJ lineup, Fierce for sure. Free beer with entry, prizes for customes, screenprinting, etc, etc.

(yep the one and only)  Hosted by Myopenbar and Vyle of Flosstradamus. Free bass for the early kids too.

Reggie's is a happenin' new club just east of Chinatown.  And the 2nd Tuesday of the month is gonna be All City Night.  This week Million $ Mano and Sklyer with more and hosts Eric Lab Rat and dj Demchuk.  Oh shit - it's that new shit.
