Best Albums of 2009
To anyone who pays even the slightest bit of attention to contemporary music, it's an obvious statement that the amount of quality music coming across our computers is growing each year. So with that fact in mind, we expanded the list of the best albums to 20 for this year.
Raekwon's Only Built for Cuban Linx Pt. II, Company of Thieves' Ordinary Riches and Amazing Baby's Rewild could all have made some movement on the list if we'd had more time to take another listen. Black Moth Super Rainbow's Eating Us and Neon Indian's Psychic Chasmswould have made the list but are just too short to be called legit LPs. So here it is, the Top 20 Albums of 2009. Local albums and concert 'best of lists' coming soon.
