Winter in Chicago can flat out suck.  And while Near the Parenthesis plays weathery soundscapes (think Album Leaf) they have a tendency to warm you up.(so do a few cocktails)  Emotive, fluid and entrancing, it's music for relaxing, but perfect as a chill backdrop in the club.  Also joining them at Sonotheque are Chris Widman, residents Emulsion and Liz Revision and VJs Videojanitor and Amputeenie.
