Most of us know that Barack Obama is one hip dude. But his indie cred has just skyrocketed in Chicago with the announcement of this fundraiser concert. Cool Kids, Canasta, Jeff Tweedy, The Changes, Jill Sobule and Stephan Jenkins all take the stage for the would-be Prez. 50 bucks is a little steep (I won't even mention the $500) but this is for the future of our country people. (and some damn good music too) At the Riv Friday.
