Fake Shark Real Zombie, Angel Lust EP - Red Hot Chili Peppers mixed with Tool.  Filled with punk-pop passion, the word and Fake and Real seem to describe their sound, but so does Shark and Zombie.

Telefon Tel Aviv, Immolate Yourself - This is a nice album. Standard TTA.  The death of half of the duo has been well reported. It's so sad for many reasons, one being this band had another album of the year in them down the road.

Johnny Cash, Remixed- The kick off track by Snoop (I Walk the Line) is fire. The rest is average. Filled with expected tricks and tweaks, there's not much expansion in these new takes.

Jon Brion, Remixes (Of Montreal) - Only 2 songs, done in a variety of ways. Very simple and nothing to extreme one way or another.  Focus on the music and not the bells and whistles. Each songs sounds like something new and unique.

Chick Corea and Hiromi Uehara, Duet- A legend. A live show. Luscious jazz. Put this on to fall asleep with and have good dreams. Nothing short of a flowery jazz fantasy.
