Blitzen Trapper Album Analysis
If we'd have heard this album before the end of '08 it would have feel just short of our Top 20. Alas we didn't, which is what happens with so much good music to hear over the course on the year. Furr plays like all those bands (modernized) from the late Sixties (Byrds, Buffalo Springfield) who sounded damn good trying to replicate what Bob Dylan was doing. One review of this album said it feels like Of Montreal meets the Grateful Dead - good enough description for our purposes here. The band play the Bottle toward the end of the month.
