Do we really need to construct an after-the-fact recap when we were writing (Twitter) and checking in live (audio field reports) from Pitchfork all weekend? Probably not, but here's a few things.

Animal Collective was the best show. Kudos to Pitchfork for keeping this festival manageable and relevant with a great a mix of styles and levels of success. Thanks to everyone from Pitchfork who were on-site to make the experience productive and enjoyable for us. To all the new and old friends and associates we got to hang with - it was great. To all the fans and Chicago peeps - you're truly the best. Here's to next year.
